Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

A lot happening in Bangalore PTP & OTH

In the Managed Cloud Services organization, a lot has happened this week & the last. As far as I know, 2 directors, several managers and a lot of other ICs were RIF'ed. Either they were long timers or they have had some issue with their Senior Directors.

While some are telling it is done for now. Some are telling not until end of this week.

Any of you have any news about MCS org?

If what I hear in today's all hands is anything to count, ORACLE cloud is in deep sh--. They have 90% of the workload coming from internal customers and that is mostly the database. That will hold for a while and without immense amount of external workload oracle cloud is going to more or less fail.

Not over yet. It seems it may continue.
