Thread regarding Mondelez International Inc. layoffs

Forbes article

Holy smokes! Someone didn’t like that scathing article! It was not a good picture of Mondelez! Article overvalued stock by $15 a share, in his opinion. Not sure why it was pulled? First Amendment right, freedom of speech! Read the article, pretty telling! Every bit of it makes sense! I know our financial advisor dumped Mondelez from his “buy” suggestions!

Keep pointing the needle at biter ex employees, but we are not! I’m employed at Mondelez and have been for 20 year, minus a few months. I can tell you this;

This used to be a fun place to work

This used to be an exciting place to work

This used to be team place to work

“Used” to be is the word.

Been here a long time, certainly gonna wait to see if a decent severance is offered and a retention plan. That with unemployment may be worth it after nearly 20 years.

Nobody in sales is getting rich, 💰🐄 guy must live in a double wide! With salary caps at every pay grade getting rich is very relative and perspective! Zero chance anyone is getting rich!

I dont doubt DSD will end. However, I still think it will be several years before it fully ends. However, there will be significant scaling back starting very soon..

To add credibility, where are you getting your dates from? I’m not doubting it’s ending, just questioning your timeline. I think more like 2020, but could be convinced otherwise. Convince me!

By the way, skippy is a waste of company payroll! He needs to move back to the farm, in my opinion!

More importantly, shows that Kroger

can indeed order our product! They can’t order coke, Pepsi, Frito lay, but they can order Mondelez 🤔, just like they can order Keebler 🤔🤔.

Wow!! If the CAO orders are switching to EDI in Kroger, I feel bad for the store's. They will have tons of back stock! 😯

Can’t tweet EDI! You gotta be a merchandiser otherwise you’d know! Electronic delivery integration. Our systems are now connected. Both Kroger and WM. Was on the phone with cc today and Kroger was ordering all kinds of nabisco, my store included. Likely a mistake, wrong sku. But sure as shi$. How long before they move our product to their warehouse? Getting closer and closer! I would not be surprised if July 15 was the right date? If not, it won’t be far off!

What's a EDI order?? I'm sure it's nothing to be worried about. Just tweak them like the CAO orders. That's all!! You'll see. More fake news!!

You are very desperate! Sorry,

DSD, your phone, and your Chevy Cruz are all going away! The only company that would benefit from dsd, if any at all, would be Mondelez, and retailers don’t care about us! Retailers are concerned about their bottom lines, not ours.

And one step further....ask yourself how your car wash would have to accommodate to meet these changes. How would they pay for it? Maybe at off people? See, they aren’t selling more car washes, just the opposite, probably selling less with added competition.

Now, here’s a huge leap for you...ready?

Transfer that scenario to Mondelez. Our US sales are down. Lots of new competition in the market. Amazon for one, but all these little niche companies are all over the place. These smaller companies are giving the consumers healthier options, which is what they want. Mondelez is so far behind the wave!

Reason why our biggest customer in the US is wal Mart. If you have ever visited the people of wal mart web site you’ll see, those people don’t care what they eat!! It’s actually a hilarious web site of you haven’t seen! Heck, maybe you’ve been featured on there?

Anyways, retail 101 has now ended. Ask questions if you need! Hopefully this makes things a little more clear for you?

Anyone who tells you business as usual, probably lying to you!

Beautiful explanation, but let’s expand on that just a bit.....sticking with the car wash analogy for the car enthusiast.....

So let’s say that car wash, where you take your fully insured Chevy Cruz, all of a sudden has a new competitor in the market.

Let’s just say that car wash was named “amazon”. And amazon didn’t have a brick n mortar building, but instead offered to “deliver” this car wash to your home, for no added price even! Would the car wash you had been going to say,”business as usual”? My guess would be that they would have to adjust to meet industry changes. It’s called evolving. See, what happens when companies don’t evolve, such as Kraft/Heinz, they tend to fall behind the industry. That lesson is for another day though. So, if your car wash just said,”we’re too big, king of car washes”, they may go belly up. If they don’t adjust, such as adding free home delivery and maybe even lowering their prices at the brick and mortar, to make that option more attractive, their business would flounder and stock may crash.

We will keep trying to help you with understanding retail, for some it can very complicating. For now, roll your windows down in that new Cruz and keep throwing cases and making big 💰.

If you need us to repeat any of these lessons for you, just ask!

Maybe when you are ready we can help you with the Forbes article. Lots of big words but we can break them down syllable by syllable for you!

Drive safely!

Oh my lord, “you got your new insurance card”, really!! It’s a law that you have to have insurance! And yes, a simple phone call would cancel that! BTW, there are plenty of people outside DSD that have cars that the newer cars could transfer to! Minimal expense.

Now, for the one who continues with the rant about Mondelez being too big, and we refused slotting fees, etc. Pay attention, this simple lesson is for you....ready?

I’m gonna simply this for you and since you seem to be particularly close to your new car I’ll use that as an example. I’ll go slow for you!

Ok, let’s say your new Cruz gets a little dirty and you decide to take it to the car wash, realizing not all trailers have a hose bib to wash from home.

Now when you get there, there are so many different car washes to choose from, that range in price. You have the option of choosing. They don’t say, oh your from Mondelez so you have to buy the most expensive with all the bells and whistles. If they did, that would be illegal.

Take that same logic and carry it to dsd. Retailers have options. They can sell Oreo without dsd. Do you have any stores in your area that you don’t service that sell Oreo? Of course you do! Where do they get their Oreo? It’s called a third party supplier.

You may want to read the Forbes article. Very interesting! Just educate yourself, you don’t post like you have any knowledge of dsd, just proud to own a Chevy Cruz.

Good luck to you!

Everything's fine! GS said no layoffs! We're evolving with DSD. We're too big to ever completely exit DSD! 💸 🐄 Mondelez refused to pay the slotting fees. Store's need our power brands and they are unable to kick us out!! Customers would complain if stores didn't have Oreos on the shelves. No layoffs! DSD will be here for years to come. We'll all be laughing this time next year when DSD is still here

Anyone who has worked for Mondelez for any amount of time cannot be surprised by this article!

It all about how things are presented! We’ve been lied to enough that anyone would have to lightly scratch the surface to see reality! King of snacks? Think again! Just like people have been saying, it’s gonna come down like a house of cards!

And for those that think we work for free, giving stores free merchandising......wake up!!!

100 million loss in cyber attack, 13 million in SEC violation, certainly doesn’t bode well!

Enjoy the final ride but fasten your seatbelt,

It’s gonna get bumpy!

They sure seem to care a whole lot about this site, for not caring about this site 🤣.

Between the article and information shared about driving pallets around town all day at quarter close, seems things aren’t all they claim to me! No wonder article states our stock is overstated, by a long shot! We know our CEO is overpaid!
