My manager might have hinted that more locations will be announced for closing sometime soon - can anybody confirm this? If it's true, how can we know if we will be affected or not? We are doing pretty well, but I thought we were safe from more hour cuts and that turned out not to be true. Since than, I don't assume anything anymore.

All bets are off for no more store closures IF the judge rejects the merger and orders cvs and aetna to seperate. If the merger goes south then the stuff will hit the fan. If you think we're in full cost cutting measures now, it'll only get much worse if the merger fails.
There are a lot more closings this year, mainly in inner city locations.
how does someone hint that stores will close.
if you are referring to a store manager he would have no idea.
and no-- no closings for the rest of the year.
All stores that are losing money and the lease is up were closed April 1.
