West Colton mechanical car repair thing of history

On April 25 Lance Fritz will be in West Colton to go and see the one spot, and shut it down. This is from area managers and reliable spruces. Jobs will be out sources to TTX and move to the old Colton yard in spring of 2020 at that time they will be trying to ease some of the traffic from LA basin and start to run intermodal trains out of Colton. Expectation is to lose 25-35 men from car department alone. With fed ex setting up a truck yard next to the recieving yard in Colton it makes a “prime spot” to expedite the intermodal business not having to travel to LA.

Spruces don’t lie! Not like those Lindens, Birches, and Maples.

Is it coincidence that Mr. Donn just came back to West Colton from El Paso? Seem to be a common denominator here. Just saying.

As much as this would s--- it’s a plausible plan. They could not turn over the one spot for 2 years based on union contracts. But if they move it to old Colton they would side step that provision. I am not advocating for it but it seems right up the shadowy allies that management is working from.
