Thread regarding Optum layoffs

Maersk moving 150 technology jobs to India and Asia layoffs in USA and Europe. Maersk insist USA citizens employees to document their job activities then bring one or two consultants from India or Asia to shadow the Maersk employee and get training for one month and fire or lay-off USA employee and engage India consultants remotely. Day is not far where only top executives will be USA employees and rest white blue collar jobs are lost to India and Asia.

Here Optum goes again... rather than India they're relocating 117 US positions to the Philippines. This was announced August 6, 2019 and is Phase 1 of 3.

I suggest that the greedy executive who run this company stand, place their hand over their heart and recite The Pledge of Allegiance

I pledge Allegiance to the flag of the United States of America

and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible,

with Liberty and Justice for all.

Maybe that will help them remember that once worked for an American company

Optum hired a new employee in India the week before they laid off two people from my team. That was the 4th or 5th person in a row that was hired from India with no US based employees being hired for the last few years. Yep, jobs are moving to India for sure.
