I doubt that the management achieved what they wanted with the recent layoffs, and I also have no doubt that we’ll see a next round soon. Is there any info on when could the next layoffs ocur?

Most of the current employees will say "give it to me baby... " For the layoff , can't wait it's so exciting who will win this lottery ! Cuz everyone wants to get outta here !
Have seen many.employess burn out and quit in frustration .. it's really sad
Management is the worst! They should be doing their job which is partly to reassure employees that they, the managers, are acting with the best interest of the team to balance incoming work with current resources while at the same time trying to find creative opportunities for additional outlets to reassign work or bring on more resources, depending upon the situation. They should be talking with their teams to solicit ideas because the people actually doing the work probably have some thoughts on how to realign work and/or resources better than management.
But no. Managers are walking the floor using intimidation tactics and causing certain employees to burn out while other employees use the office as their social hangout.
In my area, we just don’t care anymore. We have literally seen hundreds of people laid off. Rows and rows of empty cubes... We are overworked, unappreciated, underpaid and beaten down.... we show up every day, do the best we can and leave. No more putting in extra Time off the clock. Morale is gone, thank god we have a good group of people that are left. But every one of us Is stressed all day. My god! What is this company thinking? They really don’t give a rats a-- about any of us! Im trapped. Too old to leave but still need a job.... I hope they let me go in May... Good luck to you all!
Maximum layoffs will be in US and UK
I have heard third week of May and third week of June. There are so many that they have to do it in two bunches - similar to January and February this year.
What departments?
We are all feeling the stress of the financials and possible layoffs. I just do not see a way for them to keep cutting without some major changes and not simply moving team members around to meet the direct reports requirements. I hope we get some straight forward message from MGMT on what their strategy is. Nothing worse than the silence from them when they likely already know what the impacts will be with major cuts.
For those of you who feel you may be winning the lottery during 3rd week of May, start preparing now. Based on my recent layoff experience (which of course was completely unexpected), you'l be escorted to the door immediately. Pay close attention to all deadlines in the huge bundle of paperwork you will get since there are plenty of ways to get tripped up and possibly lose out on getting your Sub-Pay. For unemployment applications, Sub-Pay is NOT considered "severance", therefore make NO reference to "severance" when you apply. I hope that those of you who are praying for the exit door are not disappointed. Best of luck to all!
3rd week May. Book it
Should be a hot summer !! Feeling hot hot !!
May
I hope I'll be a part of the next wave.
I see no way around it. That's because there is a sleaze of a CEO who has no idea what he's doing and has to placate his precious shareholders. He needs to show some sort of profit. Since he can't generate a thing, it's back to his old reliable (layoffs). He truly is a disgusting human being. I actually wish him all the worse (getting fired).
