Is there a lot of confusion at the clubs? What challenges come up in the first period after the implementation? I imagine that it takes some time for the associates to get used to that situation and that a lot of things get done wrong at first? Any advice on what to look out for?

We don’t need you to show us how to stock,, we are all experts at stocking on day shift from all the pallets we have to stock out because overnights didn’t get to them 🙄🙄🙄
The whole reason they are eliminating night shift is because night crew can’t keep up with stock levels and standards. So once again daylight has to bail you out, like we always do!" HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHA...whew boy what a knee slapper...days bail out nights ..hahahahhahahahahahahahhahahah..stocking what we did not do...hahahahahahhahahahahahahhahqa,,nights easily stocks 100 plus skids a night and when day shift has to stock a couple here or there they are bailing us out..hahahahahhahahahahahahhahahahahah what a joke...EVERY time days sets an end cap nights has to finish it or fix it in some way...days almost NEVER picks a skid removed from the steel..day shift routinely leaves skids on the dock unwrapped and un tagged with no not to explain what is going on,,yes in deed we should be soooooo grateful for being bailed out. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAH....
The whole reason they are eliminating night crew is because they're greedy. The huge PERMANENT tax cut they just received last year wasn't enough for them. By cutting 3rd shift they won't have to pay shift premium across the board. But don't think for one minute the associates will see better wages or benefits. They never do.
We get it nightcrew doesn't like day crew and day crew hates night crew but you don't have to put us all down. Smh

What to expect...if you have been with the club for a few years you already know what to expect...first half your current night crew is going to leave..the remainder will be tasked initially with all the stocking..then as current day shifters are added to the stocking mix the former night shifters will be held accountable for the day shifters not getting work done....another thing that will happen is that those who cam from night shift will have to train the day shifters how to stock , set end caps , pods etc. And then the night shifters will be asked why after being bogged down with training more work was not accomplished. ..Snitching and finger pointing will escalate to a cacophonous roar..again the former night shift folks will get the blame for things not working well
after some time the chaos will settle somewhat but not completely. The current day shift managers are hungry for nights to come to days so there are more bodies for member service. The managers are so convinced night shift stocking is so easy breasy that the night shift folks will be able to continue all the stocking and assume register running , cart gathering and credit pushing with aplomb.
In other words nights shifters will be the red headed step children or may be the pre prince cinderellas of Sams Club. Some of you will no doubt decry what I am saying but those of you willing to see the truth mark my words. To at least some degree everything I have said here will be the truth in nearly all clubs.
