Are part timers ever offered severance?

Any news of the business office yet ? Are we being let go of or working downstairs for 2 hours ?
You will get an average hours based off I believe the time frame is the last 3 months worked times 15 years.
So does that mean 5 years as a part timer or 5 years of service total? I have 15+ years with the company as FT but only recently went to PT with all the 'reorgznization'. Just wondering in case my position now gets eliminated as well.
You usually have to work for 5 yrs to get severance as PT.
