Thread regarding CVS layoffs

I guess it’s that time of year again...

I guess it’s that time of year again when the store is freakishly hot and the backroom is freakishly hotter. Calling the help desk does nothing, all they say is “the store is at it’s set temperature so there is nothing else we can do”. Help desk said our store is set for 74 degrees. How the hell is that suppose to be air conditioning? Freaking ridiculous the conditions they make us work in.

Or how about stupid corporate give the stores control over the thermostat! It’s bad enough the working conditions here, but it’s freezing in the winter, “no you can’t turn up the heat” and it’s broiling in the summer, “no you can’t turn the ac on”. Give me a break... How about some basic human working conditions!

Store supply the thermacare bands from External Pain, wrap them around your sensor. Tricks corporate into thinking it's much hotter than it is, AC gets turned up.
