Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

ag sieben and associates

Anyone dealt with this company regarding COBRA? I called for more info and the person helping me seemed

like she just woke up and didn't give a c-ap. They don't take credit card or have an online payment.

They make it as inconvenient as possible to make payments. This is clearly a deliberate policy in the hopes that people will not make payments and thus be dropped. For example, no billing statements, no credit card payments, no direct debits, very difficult - at least for my bank - to use bill pay correctly. Really, the only viable option is to mail them a check each month.

My rep wasn't bad; just keep hanging in there. However, COBRA medical was too expensive, so I kept vision and dental and bought medical in the marketplace. They DO require checks, however ; no credit cards. Good luck!

COBRA. Is very expensive, look for better options through your state or federal health insurance exchanges

I had trouble dealing with them via US mail but they were informative and pleasant when I called them. COBRA is not a pleasant subject though and I'm glad I don't have their job dealing with those that have lost their jobs.

Cobra was not designed to be used by people, look for another option

Actually very nice people, you do have to send them checks though

They are outsourced to handle COBRA by Oracle. They must have been the cheapest option.
