If you have ever heard Jeff’s wife talk about him — she does so in an admiringly and loving way — not a typical divorce. She loves him — they just grew out of love and moved on with their lives— like many people do in life.

Back to the main idea here — Amazon vs Wal-Mart. When Amazon makes a mistake does anyone notice? Not really. They have crazy profits and personal talent that fuel their R&D. They are strategic as well. Not trying to prop up Amazon, it’s just that they make moves while Wal-Mart sways. Btw Wal-Mart pays income taxes and Amazon does not — that’s huge in terms of the wage pay and expansion taking place at Amazon — vs Wal-Mart sheisty doesn’t want to pay more than 2% raise and bottom dollar for their people unless they have no other choice but to raise pay because no one will work for their sub-par minimum wage. Wal-Mart will let you work w a skeleton crew it it works and brings a profit — they are a just bunch of talk, they hide their new club structure and lay people off in a sneaky way. Wal-Mart is not all bad, they have just burnt too many bridges w their associates— hard to come back from that.

Amazon is not immune from making mistakes, just look at CEO Jeff Bezos losing $35 billion dollars to his ex-wife, I hope that side action was really good in bed Jeffery!

Sams Club is expanding, just not in the USA. Wal-Mart is pushing Sam’s Clubs in China and opening more stores there— more like taking lessons learned here and applying them to new space in China.

I don’t believe Sam’s will expand in the USA unless it becomes clear expanding will mean more profit. Right now, Sam’s is hunkering down watching Amazon chip away at their margins. Amazon has said they will undercut Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club margins at ANY cost. To me— this means Amazon will chip away at Sams Club margins til they can no longer operate at a profit. Sam’s club is reacting by pushing technology to lower operating costs and eliminate costly wages. Wal-Mart is throwing the kitchen sink at the juggernaut Amazon who — not only has a strong online presence, but also has many other highly profitable businesses like AWS and Prime that give them more power to win.

Amazon is slowly taking Sam’s Club down. Sam’s club reacts by copying Amazon to try to be more efficient.

Wal-Mart def wants to win but they will win at any cost— at the cost of the lives of their workers — Sam’s club workers that still do the same out-dated cheer. They will never learn, just copy others.
