Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Watch out!

Watch out for HR and Managers (being puppeteered) into tracking employee micro-behavior changes (emotional changes), position/location changes and constant spying/surveillance like Stasi -State.

Honeywell-Organization & Governnance has adopted a Communist-like behavior. The Indians help with data mining and sniffing like rats through employee data. The goal is to break your will power and force you into a state of helplessness.

Don't trust a word those id--ts say and keep your options open. Exploit and take advantage of your self-interests. They are doing the same by trying to make value and money by taking advantage of your devotion and time. Stand ground and don't give in to bullying and intimidation tactics.

Just remember, they are simply trying to cash out before they retire. Also, after retiring, it is unclear how far these dinosaurs plan to run and hide.

Oh yeah! No meds needed. Working for the sh--bag management and there is an organised movement. Wait till it happens and you'll know!

The company is the people and the management is the real sh-- here. They lie, cheat and steal from the real producers and from the investors. They spin the documents and artifacts to skew the picture and provide accounting. No need to work overtime!

If everyone sticks to 40, what will the management do? They will try to attack a few people and announce some layoffs, to strike fear again. However, if you stay committed and united, nothing will go wrong and these people will come begging on their knees.

Stop letting yourself getting pushed around. Time to push back and PUSH REAL HARD and PUNCH HARD!

Tempe, yes...there are a bunch of fat old hens over there. They will cluck cluck, if you don't comply. In fact, these hens create fake accounts over here to write a bunch bull-soup, to convince you to remain afraid.

They'll spread fear and paranoia, to impair your judgment. Don't get pushed around. There's only so much engineers, techs that they can fire. How long will it sustain? How many new folks will move to AZ from other states?

Bow now and remain a slave forever with your children. Raise your head and do the right thing by standing up for yourself and your family. Americans never bow to anybody. Dignity and respect is fundamental to stability. No room for liars, cheats and bullies!

Touch Tempe employees are scheduled 16 hours OT with mandatory Saturday and they push for more. they write folks up and fire them for having a disagreement with a co worker. They walk out senior engineers with one hour notice during performance reviews. Anyone who can bail out or retire needs to consider it, strongly.

That was a good response. I will work 20 hours for the same salary and still achieve same results. (HAHAHAHA). HR just shut their mouth!

These guys are using the pension money to fill the deficit. The accounting is fully out of whack. Due to poor speculation, these guys created bubbles and they are popping all around them. The way they payoff these bubbles is by spinning the books and then laying off people, to take their money and pull it into the books.

This is how they measure you.

Candidate A: Gullible and id--t (Fearful type) - Work them like a donkey for 70, 80-90 hours. Keep pushing them and say more is needed.

Candidate B: Less gullible and assertive - Work them to solve all the difficult projects and lay them blame on them. Fire them after using them.

Candidate C: The bully, min-me-narcissist and mini-me-sociopath - Promote them and have them as the underlings.

You think spying on employees is only done to engineers? Ha! Even the ALT spied on its own members. Talk about a lack of trust. Get over it and just get out for your personal well being.

I am filing papers with HR to claim exemption for sustained OT due to medical . I take BP meds and have a heart stent. I can not work more than a 8 hr work day without tiring easily . And forget weekends....... I heard it said by HR that I am salary so not at hourly rate. I then countered him saying ok, then I work 20hrs for the same pay. He had no response. I am already there at retirement time for ss and pension. Already on borrowed time cause the manger PIP'd me because he is a wiener who some uppers ran to not liking my comments on yammer. But hey, I put up a good fight, get this OT thing in writing .

When they say 'jump', you're only answer, to be a correct company man (or woman), is to say 'how high, SIR'.

Just teasing. I've been retired for five years.

Please oh please put me on a PIP for failing to work 6 hours ( 4 unpaid) of overtime.

The moment you do I will have grounds for a class action lawsuit asking for all employees denied pay for that mandatory time be reimbursed.

Piss on this company and their new 46 hour work week! They will s--- all the life out of you if you let them.

Didn't do it and others are doing the same. No one is working the 46. I guess, they got you to cave in and roll-over by isolating you. They lied to you and wrote those words "does not support team or customer goals", " fails to go the extra yard"...Etc.

Those words mean nothing. It is not specific and bears no weight. It is simply a psychological trick to coerce you into signing up for their lies. You should have asked

1) What goals? Can you be specific and provide a measure?

2) Which team? Your feedback is vague and nebulous.

3) Fails to go the extra yard—this is vague. Show me where is the failure in appropriate and tangible terms with an incident log.

None of the above are admissible in any discussion of logic. You became irrational by allowing this manager and HR person, to induce and influence your environment (probably a closed office) with fear, and you took the bait and rolled-over. Hence, they secured the advantage by accepting your admission.

Never sign anything these monkeys give you. You cannot be forced to sign any document. They will say things like, it has never been done before and you should reply, well—there is a time for everything!

These guys can bribe senators and judges, every year, only for so-long. What happens when the senators fade away and judges retire? Justice comes knocking!

They lost me on the 46+ hour work week when they canceled 2 of my projects (one really big one). Still busy, but not enough for 46 hours unless I blow it on overhead.

I refuse to do OT on overhead.

@YK9pFvo-zvy I'm afraid you do not get it. The standard workweek has changed to be 46 hours right now. This is not a question of asking to see the planning documents and getting agreement on poorly made plans. you will be held accountable for not working the required hours. Ok, sure there is not a chain and shackle holding you to your desk and you are free to leave anytime you want.

But you will be put on a PIP. No you will see a statement that says fails to work required OT, as OT is no longer part of the vocabulary, But rather you will see "does not support team or customer goals", " fails to go the extra yard"...Etc. These were the weasel words given to me as a manager, and they came on down from at least the J.E. (AERO).

good luck on your PIP!

Well, getting PUPd (Pipd), RUFd (RiFd) etc. is based on whether they find material to write against, right?

Only id--ts work 60-80 hours and earn pennies in exchange. If you look at the productivity/Output: time invested (ratio) and try to raise that number, then you can highlight the value you bring to the company.

Staring at a computer screen will not make the electrons go faster. Something, you should explain to the HR monkeys. At the end of the day, a company can even cut short the HR folks who add close to no value in today's corporate world. They can be replaced by machines/robots to provide service. Most of the HR work has been done by the manager.

Your time and emotions are your property and possession. Company cares about results. The software guys are known to get their job done in 1 hour and then charge 1000 hrs for their project—smart move!

Unlike the code donkeys who keep writing code and yet, the quality is so poor after investing so many hours. A few tactics would be,

Unite with your peers (Your boss's goal is to keep you separate and disorganized)

Push back on weekends and stupid demands. Ask them to point it in your agreement and show where, such ridiculous planning was created. If being asked to work on weekends, then ask why? Let them explain the logic and then ask, who created such intelligent plans. Why was the planning done so poorly? Who is responsible and accountable for poor planning? What actions will be taken?

Don't cave in. Ask calmly and comfortably. Calm confidence has a nice way of making the managers nervous and having a nervous breakdown.

Their goal is to induce fear. Fear is induced and self-developed and one can easily overcome it. The fear-inducer then has a nervous breakdown when their tactics to induce fear in others fail. Slowly, they start slipping and making mistakes. Make these CEOs earn their pay!

Push-back on micromanagement. Show that you don't need lessons and excessive words. Have them provide clear and concise directions. The expectation is for you to provide clear answers but they give nebulous answers. Turn it back and have them explain what that means!

No one can defeat or submit you. Only you can do that to yourself. Stop letting these people change your beliefs and steal your confidence. Write the names of all these bullies who hide in the shadows. They are empowered because they feel that they will not be held liable for legal action and for harassment. Document and voice-record all interactions and enforce dignity and respect.

There is no room for toxic management!

This is not exactly a secret, HR always told me that I needed to keep a file, update daily if possible, on each employee behaviors and progress on project. Just as you said like the old East german secret police, AKA Stasi.

I'm not following your line of thought on keeping your options open? Are you saying to refuse the actions to work free OT, and weekends, are you saying to push back on micro managing and intimidation. Do you have any advice on how to do that without getting yourself PIP'd and Rif'd ... or is that you plan?

The best plan is the one I followed, and that is to leave for a better job.
