I like how a--hole are trying to play it down as lies when you can Google it and see the Palestine Herald Paper and local news channels have announced it. I think Omaha has some of the remaining it personnel chugging koolaid to keep their jobs.
The OP must be from Corporate Relations. Reminds me of the guy in Baghdad, when American soldiers were literally storming the news room, saying on TV that there was no invasion of Iraq. Nothing to see here!

The meeting was called and the letter was given. 30 people in the car shop sent home to figure out how to pay bills to and feed their families in the next coming months. No lies except from the top when they were told that they were safe from layoffs.

30 Carmen furloughed and 2 foreman bumped to Carmen. We each got a letter dated April 25, 2019, That says “Effective this day is your notice that abolishments in your craft will result in your furlough...Sincerely, Roderick Riley, Sr Mgr System Car Facility”
