I left Lowe's about 6 months ago after working for them for 9 years. I left for medical reasons, so I do not have an axe to grind with them and with that said I agree with the original poster. I feel bad for the friends of mine that still work there and have to deal with the mess. When I go in they all look so worn out and frustrated. They tell me stories of write up and firings all the time and they are bullied by managers that have no experience, no guidance, and no tact. To much freight, tasks and not enough coverage.
You can go ahead and tell me to shut up and that no one cares about me either, but you can't see the forest for the tree. You may feel that things are going smoothly and that's fine. But people that shop there are the people that matter. If they stop showing up and take their business elsewhere you won't have a job.
I liked working for and shopping at Lowe's but I have to admit things have changed and not for the better. So maybe the one that should shut up and listen for a second is you, You may learn something.
