Thread regarding Bank of New York Mellon Corp. layoffs

Nothing but lame corporate claptrap, replete with excuses for poor performance by senior management ("...but....but....the yield curve"). And it was awesome how Charlie responded to the question about profit sharing, saying essentially that our pay structure reflects company performance. This, however, does not apply to himself -- as the company is underperforming in dramatic fashion -- but his salary is apparently independent of this underperformance. Talk about spit-your-coffee hypocrisy.

What a bunch of sorry excuses for leaders these people are.
