So if you’re one of the lucky ones that get the early shifts and the days off that you want... how long does that last? Do you keep that schedule until the next company idea rolls around or do you have to swap after each quarter or a certain time period?

So it’s a set schedule. My question is, can anyone request Saturday and Sunday off for there two days ?
Early shift is 4-12:30, so both shifts get 40 hours.
My question is : if someone was to transfer into your department from another store or different department and they have more years with the company - will they also get priority scheduling?
I keep seeing the 'blocks' as being 4-12 or 3-11:30. Is it fair to assume that the early shift will only get 37.5 hours a week while the late shift gets 40?
What does this topic have to do with layoffs????
they could easily give you a set schedule and leave it that way..the local managers do not want to do that ..not just because of business needs..managers have a brain issue that makes them want to never do anything that helps hourlies on a personal level,,the managers absolutely can not stand the protected time off for that very reason..so if they can mess up block scheduling in a way that is harmful to associates you can bet your last dollar they will....
It is set shifts with your shifts moved around (times and days off) to meet the company needs. So it only lasts as long as the store needs it to last.
It's a set schedule from here on out
