Thread regarding Sears layoffs

Eddie and the 3 Stooges must think customers are as dumb as they are

Informed customers won't buy large appliances if they don't think the company will be around in ten years. It's as simple as that. What kind of messaging has Sears done since the bankruptcy started that gave people any kind of assurance that Sears will still be around? Zip. Zilch. Nada. Instead, it's r----d stuff like "we have all the customers we need". Eddie is an id--t. Always has been.

@nff Sears is now a distant 4th in appliance sales and market share.

Yes, we've lost market share in the appliance business for 2 reasons:

Brand loss

And not a lot of members trust that Sears will be around to service their appliance.

Yet....we are asked on the daily...why are sales down?

Must be we're not posting enough on social media.

Why? People buy the appliance if it breaks you get someone to fix it. It might be Sears it might be some other company. Who's thinking about 10 years from now?
