The goal is not to shed dead weight. If that was the goal, a voluntary separation package would not have been offered to all those over 55 yrs of age. They aren't all dead weight. We are losing a lot of knowledge and experience. Likewise, the severance packages for the involuntary are said to be the best ever offered. Why would they be offering dead weight so much $$? He’s not trying to help those who remain flourish, but rather lower G&A, come up with the saved $100mm as promised and prepare the company for sale. Anyone with half a brain would see this.
