Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

Any layoffs at Chevron triggered by the Anadarko acquisition?

How big is the possibility that some Chevron employees pay the price of the new company entering the Chevron umbrella? A new company with new employees id going under our roof. I can’t see that process happening without a big reorg. Who is going to fall victim to that reorg, I guess we’ll see.

No, there has not been any layoffs. The deal isn't done. It may not be executed at all. Premature speculation. Wait and see.

Project Montana is the first step in anadarko induced chevron layoffs.

You clowns are not the sharpest pencils in the box in your company, that is for certain.

There will be layoffs regardless. You work at an oil company, and there’s a ceo and there are clueless managers in the org. Of course there will be layoffs.

I’m not sure how OXY’s acquisition of Anadarko will have any effect on Chevron layoffs.

I hope Oxy does get the deal. That way, no layoffs for me or anyone at Chevron.

Not going to happen as Oxy will snatch the deal out from Chevron

Any decent business school teaches the pitfalls of M&A and why they often aren’t successful. If you have people who don’t know what they’re doing this enterprise will fail spectacularly.
