Seems to be lots of hiring of Directors in both F&B and HGBU teams - and with few or no reports. What do these people do? No clear job descriptions. F&B may have all the new hires but in hotels - most of the same old Micros managers are still here - why? These folks have shown they don't like being acquired by Oracle, don't want to follow rules and no one seems to be able to force them to do their jobs. Chaos

I don't know what the poster meant unless it was they'll be rif'd in June but these people are not hidden, they are very visible in their lack of productive work, ideas, strategy and new products. It's amazing that customer don't laugh in their faces at the industry events. This business unit has no credibility and are deterrents to ever successfully being integrated into Oracle. We keep treating them like they were acquired last week and it's been almost 5 years of bad behavior.

What does this mean?
Rumor has it that the consulting is so bad that it's being outsourced to partners for FY20, so we can't even implement our own stuff? WTH? To get cloud deals provisioned it still takes 3-4 months - why?
If we're supposed to push cloud on the customers, wouldn't you think we'd have "cloud-ready DC's"?
Clearly no one thinks past their next paycheck, no strategy, no accountability and I expect we'll all be sold off or rif'd.
Just like the non-productive directors and vp's in other lines of business at Oracle - they probably do little to nothing and are friends of the hiring manager.
