So all you conspiracy theory folks out there nothing happened at meeting, they talked about block sheldules and other minor things, nobody getting laid off, okay stop being scared, work your sheldule do your job and stay off this site with these folks pulling your strings, these are facts i was in the meeting

This the best thread yet! This site is bout layoffs nothing else. But y’all talk bout everything on here. This site has jumped the shark so bad and needs to shut down. Go ahead down vote me because I said y’all talk rumors and not layoffs on here! What does block scheduling? Polish dogs? Boyd? Have to do with layoffs? Nothing but I see topics on here all the time bout it. Stop clogging up the forum with b--ching bout other stuff! With that being said let the down vote begin.

Minor?? For years we have altered our lives for the jobs we have at Sams and worked our lives around our schedules. Now the lives we have been forced to make around our schedules just got ripped out from under us. Some of us have children that we have put in daycare based on what we have worked for years. Some of us have made our school schedules around our schedules at work and others of us enjoy going to church on Sunday! Sams just told us all that family and religious values mean nothing to this company! I know some of you have no idea what I am talking about but you will find out in the days and weeks to come

I think we are allowed to discuss changes here. So, maybe no layoffs, but why not discuss changes.
People do it in stores, offices, etc. all the time - we discuss changes. We gossip during lunches, and talk about rumors.
I actually like having another space where I can do this - that's why I like layoffs.com
@eoz there are clear rules on this site that bullying is not allowed. Also, foul language, etc. I think the goal is to have a broad audience look at these posts and while I recognize your right to use language as you see it fit, doing so will be a major turn off for many visitors.
I agree, in principal, with what you have to say, I merely dislike the foul language you chose to use.
@ylk trust me, it's legal. Not in France, not in Canada, but here in our good old Arkansas it's so legal...

It's all c-ap. Being forced to move and do a job you don't want with no offer of severance.... How is some of this legal?!
Saying nothing changes is a lie. Pretty much everything is changing for everyone.
They may be minor to you if your job isn't affected. I was told club pick up will now be part of the floors responsibility starting in June. I've done club pick up for over 10 years and will now be part of the front end which means I could be running register one day self scan the next or door greeter or membership. I do my job I work my schedule shifts I'm never late and I don't call off so again may be minor to you but not so minor for others.
