Lol
Correction, it states in the work schedule section that full time will "normally" be scheduled at least 39. My mistake. You should be a lawyer. You are wasting your talents at Lowes.
Every associate got the email the email is from hr Read the pay tab is said full time associates will normally be scheduled 39 hours a week then it said full time is guaranteed only 30 hours a week read it
our district managers is in our store today......came right out and asked about this email (checked with 15 full time employess and none of us received any email sunday night) and he said it is incorrect. we are to be scheduled at full budget, no cut backs for full timers & no pay cuts.
Post the email or stop the rumors
All the more to frustrate the long-time employees into quitting so Lowe’s can do a reset on the wages.
The new two raises a year isn’t as good as it seems; half now and half later is not as good as getting the full amount at once.
“That section appeared to be saying that the minimum scheduled hours are 30 for full time status. Read the other policy about pay. It clearly states full time will usually be scheduled 39 hrs.”
Key word - USUALLY
That section appeared to be saying that the minimum scheduled hours are 30 for full time status. Read the other policy about pay. It clearly states full time will usually be scheduled 39 hrs. Read everything instead of just what you can interpret as negative.

Would love to hear more about what's happening at Lowe's.
I'd love to hear more about what's going on at Lowe's. mtownsend9@bloomberg.net
Im surprised it took this long. I work for a retailer that has various levels of employment. Two types of part timers and 2 types of fulltimers. It actually makes sense, but s---s if you were 40 per week and now get cut down. But hiring in people new that know the deal allows for better flex ability with schedules.
It works at my job, but s---s for Lowes people being cut, especially if they have been with the company a long time.
I was mistaken then, you're right we did get that email. I read through the changelog though and read through a few of the updated policies but didn't see anything like that.
Everyone got the hr update policy email on sunday
Except I never got an email from Marvin or corporate Sunday night. If the key part is in that link and not the email, link it here or screenshot it.
Look at you re email from Sunday night around 8 pm the email is from he up date where it said click here go to where it says pay and read it
I saw no such email. At least provide a screenshot of it. Otherwise you're just spreading baseless rumors.
Anonymous racism....what a classy guy. smh
So a full time job now comes with a 25% paycut. Less vacation accrual, less 401k and more oddball schedules.
Sound like a win win win win for Lowes and another d--k slap in the face for us.
F. U. Marvin in your $3.4 million dollar guilt assuagement pit.
D--k's Sporting Goods dropped their full time minimum to 30 hours in 2002.
Sounds like the bare minimum to conform with Federal law
It will be interesting to see what happens when we get out of spring
I saw that, no guarantee of any hours for part timers, too, as I read things.
More and more happy my wife got a promotion at her job and that I dropped to permanent part time when that happened. Lowe's needs me more than I need them now.
