@1izx very few people in the employee population will ever reach psg 27/28... and I can guarantee that an operator that is worried about his job enough to go on this website will not make there.

Top operator pay is $42 and some change, but there are very few at that level. Second highest is $39 . It’s not a split week so you get overtime after 40hrs. If you work unscheduled overtime Its calculated at 1.865 X $39 not 1.5.

401k is 8% match if you put in 2% plus a pension.

You get travel overtime for training. If your in school on days off it’s overtime. If you chose to go on working days it’s just like you were at work pay wise.

Schedule is 14/14 not 28/28 and your vacation is based on service years 0-5 years (84hrs) 5-10 years (126 hrs) 10-20 (168 hrs.) working all the way up to 252 hrs at 30 years

Yeah all that major b---s--- is for the birds. APC is about as efficient as it gets. Not impressed at all with how Chevron treats its numbers...I mean workers.

Offshore guys have it better than anyone in Chevron. Normal pay and benefits plus 28/28 rotation. You can get up to pay grade 27 or 28 rotating offshore, so you are getting $500-700k/yr for half time work which would be the same as $1 million/yr in the office where you have to work 50 weeks.

Really??? Do you understand that you are being bought? The days of wasteful spending are over. If you make the cut, you will in the majors son. We are a major because we don't waste money to coddle you wanna be operators.

You will be expected to step up, shut up, and be a team player. If you don't like it, stay in the minors and get bought and sold and end up a 58 year old contract roustabout.
