From what I can see, all of the service providers are investing in and counting on 5G taking off (I haven't seen much from Sprint). If 5G fails, each of the providers will be negatively impacted. I don't know if Verizon will be impacted any more than the other guys.

The equipment manufacturers will also be impacted as they are developing new 5G radios and associated equipment.

5G is really most useful in IoT than anything. Unfortunately, IoT is not exciting, but it will be profitable and will improve things in life like security, parking, traffic, food, and medicine.

It takes five years for Verizon to recoup sunk cost associated with one Fios installation. Projections for sunk cost recovery associated with 5G devices is 7-8 years. 5G will likely be profitable around the time 6G is being deployed.

what is overlay??

Imperative, that VZ 5G needs to generate an enormous amount of revenue !!!

Or it is goodbye Hans and goodbye Shankar.

And the VZ stick price will implode to low US$20/share.
