Will they lay you off if your a part time worker who can't work available shifts?

PT are exempt from block scheduling.
Basically this is how it works at my club. If you are part time, and you have your availability in the computer with how you need it to be, and there are shifts available within your availability, you will be scheduled, if not, you won't get hours. And after 3 weeks of no hours you can be gained from the system.
