I am with WMT and I see a ton of messages here recently. Can someone summarize for me what's going on - I am not an insider and it's hard to track. Thanks and good luck.

Get back to work at your supercenter and stop worrying about what’s going on at Sam’s. All our checks come from Wal-Mart Corp, yet one part of the company gets the benefit of unlimited savings of 10% on the items that everyone buys each week to live, while another part of the company gets a $45 free membership 🙄 So if you spend $200 a week at Walmart, you save nearly $1000 a year with the associate discount, and Sam’s won’t even give its associates a Plus Membership 🙄
Think about that.... you work at a place that requires you to have a membership to buy anything, so if they didn’t give us a free membership you would have workers not members and not able to buy anything ever!! And don’t even get me started on how wonderful the Plus Membership is to every single customer that walks in the door, yet it is not included as a part of the benefits package where we work!!! Make this issue right Bentonville by the simple solution that we all work for the same corporation, ALL Wal-Mart associates get a free membership and all Sam’s associates get a 10% discount when they shop at Walmart!
People have quit their other jobs to work at Sam’s Club, but now this? Heck, every now job they get is worse then the old one.
For years FT workers have complained about closing then opening, no regular schedule or days off. Now that the company is giving FT what they've been complaining about for years some are still not happy. If you don't like the new block scheduling then maybe it's time you leave. The grass isn't always greener on the other side. A bird in hand is worth two in bush. I'm thankful to have a good paying job and don't plan to leave.
Sam’s club has lost the plot. It’s not going to work for them.
You can’t run a business without associates.
