They offered me a whooping 27%

Still thinking because i am getting a 38% bump from outside from my current salary and it is something new than the same boring stuff i was doing at Verizon.

Dont give in for tiny bump. They are willing to offer you much higher. The leaders wont speak it but they have realized their incompetence.

BS...wrong. June release. I accepted the 13% bump that was offered. Outside prospects were not looking as bright, so I took it. I only have 7 years with the company.

Mxv- good experience for the customer is the way it use to be, but we have customers now that have been dealing with issues for years. It is lip service only.

I can see this happening from a mutual situation. The 'grass looked greener' for both VZ and the VSPer, but an 'absence made everyone's heart grow fonder', and when all is said an done, it is all about the customer's experience and their Benjamins.

VSP, 2.0 was all done to make sure that everyone is focused on the same thing: providing an opportunity for a good experience to customers and getting paid well for it. But over time and over the mergers that idea somehow got lost.

All: please do not joke and fabricate. tell the truth.

because this could be an ensuing class action against VZ.

why was the correct decision not made prior to the VSP?

You must have made a mistake about taking the VSP. Dreaming about how Verizon would hire you back as a direct Employee. Verizon has moved on so should you.

I could see this happening on a limited basis if they realized they let someone go with specialized skills or knowledge that they shouldn't have. But it would take more than a 8-15% bump in base to give up the big exit check. Maybe contracting back so I could double dip.

How was this offered? By a letter? Email? What department did you VSP from? I am having a hard time believing it.
