Are you required to have day off back to back "OR" can your days off be separate? Also has anyone gotten weekends off as their days off?

If you GM is doing it the way Bentonville said to, then you have to have your 2 days off together. I think you will see very few positions that have weekends off. Remember the system being put into place allows for people to use PTO time to have a weekend day or days off when requested. So when we say everyone will be working all weekend, that doesn’t allow for the people that will now request a weekend off or will be off for their vacation week.
In the end there will be associates having weekends off. Whether or not those folks got those days because they asked might be another matter. But be sure SOME associates will be off on weekends.
They probably asked your preference for days off so they could run you off by not giving you any of your preferences.
Yea I don’t know why they ask you what days you want off because almost everyone was told after they asked —- “ Well the system is giving you .....” 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️
I'm a meat cutter, I was asked for my preferred days off I asked for one weekend day off and didnt csre what the other one would be. I get the sense they just ask you to go threw the motions, i feel they'll give me days off that they would perfer me to have. Plus we have 4 cutters 2 of which will open 2 will close, so if we all work the weekend it'll make for very thin coverage weekdays.. Will be interesting to see what a sh--, show this is going to be.

I’m a club pick up associate and to get early shifts I didn’t have a choice about my days off. I was told it would be Wednesday and Thursday off.
