floor leads will work either the 4-12:30am or the 3-11:30 shifts. They are required to work every weekend and the only days off to have is Monday thru Thursday. I feel for the ones that are stuck closing and have children. They will never see them. They will miss their games, dances, fathers day, mothers day , etc. It's just sad that there isn't some sort of rotation This type of schedule will definitely put a strain on family life. Good luck to those that are working through it.

My team lead (deli department) got the closing shift. But it depends on the department you are in. From what I was told, the way the structuring is for the fresh department is meat and bakery leads have the morning shift, and deli and produce leads have the closing shift.
