Thread regarding Pioneer Natural Resources Co. layoffs

Those being played off getting massive buyout!

Why is it I now realize that I should have been a lazy sh-- and I could have gotten out of this sh-- town with a bundle of money and been working within a month of selling my home? They are giving 125% annual salary to the low performing asses while the hard workers get a "hey good job you made it..... now work twice as hard!" Plus all their bonus... AND they are restructuring for no good reason.

More dumb dumb posts. An IP address doesn’t reveal your identity unless you access this site on the company’s internal network. Outside of the office one would need a court subpoena to force an ISP to provide the identity of an IP owner. Also, you have an IP address regardless of if a VPN is used. Just more pioneer rot attempting to scare people off this site from posting.

You all are r----ded, Pioneer is a good company. Even with everything going on no one works all that hard. We have a really compensation program and get to live in Dallas. The ones wanting us to be bought out are stupid and need to be fired, if you are not happy here you’ll want to off yourself working for a major.

Yeah I agree. Don’t spread this blame around to other coworkers. You actually believe the Ponzi scheme of “rating” people. You obviously have never participated in on one of our “calibration” meetings.

So if you think you are better than other people because you got “highest rated” I assure you it is not based on merit, knowledge, or actual work ability. Rather it is based on how you stroke someone’s ego and while that gets up a dead end ladder it doesn’t help us in the long run. The entire system is flawed! I hope I see the beneficiaries of our inbred nepotistic promotion hiring and rating scheme get shown the door.
