Found out today that if you work part time, the company has structured it so part timers will NEVER qualify for a Sam’s share.

It’s true you have to work so many hours to receive a half share. The new structure is part timers under 20 hours a week.
Well, I don't know who told you that but it's wrong. Part timers get 1/2 Sam's share.
