The best managers Can do is offer them a position that gives them the schedule they want... but this cannot be done until AFTER block scheduling takes effect. Me and another team lead are switching places as soon as everything is finalized because he was effectively going to quit if he had to work the 1-9 block. I wasn't forced to accept the switch but let be serious... it's far better to be on your club managers good side than having them looking for a way to get rid of you. Not saying my CM would have done so to me if I hadn't accepted.. but some would.
All CM have there pets and will find a way to keep them around. The pets are usually the ones who s--- but kiss up to the CM to get there way. Its not uncommon for some of the ladies in the club to wear that low cut shirt because they know he likes it.
if they can't they will sure wish they could and will even try. If you are not a favorite and yet managed to get a good schedule watch your back ! Management will look for every opportunity to coach you out of a job so they can fill your schedule with a favorite..
