Jewelry lead, accounting, and comp shopper all eliminated with no severance offered!! No severance offered because it's just restructuring positions. Unfair!!! They will never have to pay severance again unless a club closes!!

Somebody is angry hahaha! All I said was they made an exception at my club. I was hoping others who may have similar situation could use it as advice to get what they rightfully deserve. Not sure how my comment was taken as negative.
Why shouldn’t we get a servance ? You mo--n !! We have worked just as hard as ur lazy a--!! Let me guess ur untouchable r u brown kissing the club manager or r u a club manager? If ur position u worked in was eliminated and they told ur a-- to go push carts I am sure the shoe would be on the other foot watch what u say !!! The way they r firing people u might be on the chopping block no worries I stayed for there sh--ty part time and I was hanging around to see if we would get on no worries I saw this coming I have moved on. The jewelry associate at my club is getting a severance. She had her doctor write her a note saying she physically can’t do the job with the new requirements. It was submitted to home office and approved.

Jewelry lead here. I was not eliminated. Been with the company 30+ years. My club manager has been talking with people with closed doors but not me. Safe as houses like I’ve been saying all along.

It s---s but that's why a lot of us were saying to just leave. Everyone kept saying they were going to hold out for severance. Instead of just worrying about furthering their career they were focused on a check. Now they are even more behind if they want to go in a new direction.

It's a smart move and eliminates useless waste. Did jewelry need a lead? Do we really need someone to check prices in store when i can go online and get the price of anything in seconds.
