All cake orders are suppose to be done the day before anyway. It’s always been that way. You should get into the habit of it now. You’ll be surprised at the amount of stress that will be relieved off of you. Except whipped cakes. The buttercream bleeds down the sides if they sit overnight.

So I am really wore about this cake decorating block scheduling. We only have two decorators and the one that works 5-1:30 is off every Sunday . So that gives the other decorator that works 1-9:30 working every Sunday . Who is going to be decorating Sunday morning orders ? And most of Sunday’s orders are due by 1 .

My fresh mgr told me since we only have two decorators that the closing one Saturday is going to have to do all Sunday’s orders Saturday nite .

NO WAY

It calls for more full time decorators.. 5am to 130 and 1 to 930 for full time. Part timers will have shifts in between only averaging 18 to 24 hours a week max.
