@ikm - I turned down the VSP and was cut anyways. They still gave me the 3 weeks per year but I was laid off. Probably to avoid a lawsuit.

It depends on the state. In some states only the ESP (non voluntary) would qualify. In others, both might. I believe VZ said it would contest the VSP, but I've heard others say they were approved, Nothing to lose by applying and appealing, if necessary.

Same here. Then had to have an eligibility hearing. Then they said I wasn't eligible. Now I'm appealing.

I was VSP. Curious how you got 3 weeks if you never put your name in?

Not a VSP, but got the 3 weeks per year and filed for unemployement right away and was given it.
