Besides the obvious agism of the PIP/RIF actions, I wonder how many the people being let go also did or did not give to HI PAC? while this could be a separate thread, on the PAC. It always seemed to me that the people with the desktop award for PAC contributions, have risen up the ladder pretty fast, regardless of effort or intelligence. While those that did not tithe the appropriate amount likewise seemed to have their careers languish and or die? could just be my corner of the word?
any thoughts on that?

Don't let this bite you. Shake it off and move on. Perhaps, it is the best thing that happened to you. You were overly productive and that is why you got laid off. Now, they can automate your job without needing you. Hence the cut!

You're adorable 1tkb. Of course the stock price went up. Investors love to see companies "maximizing profit" by shedding dead weight, ie, people. Take heart, YYPBCsF, I got laid off a few years back and it's the best thing that ever happened to me. I got a new gig at much better pay for a company that actually treats its people like people instead of liabilities.
