Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Who else is leaving?

We lost several people in the past two weeks, and at least one more is planning to leave in the near future.

This has me thinking, how many of you are looking for a way our right now and will leave Honeywell as soon as you find something better?

I'm personally going to stick it out, but I was just wondering how many are truly done with this place.

I'm gone.

So glad to have that place behind.

Sorry for those who remain.

FACT - for the first time in 50 years, Honeywell can no longer claim ‘100% MISSION SUCCESS’ for space. If you don’t believe - Google Worldview-4 satellite, which is spiraling out of control due to Honeywell control monent gyro (cmg) failure in January 2029. Maxar (integrator) shares dropped more than 50%, insurance payout of $183M, and now lawsuits (Rosen law firm) are commencing.

MGMT response- Product Health Teams (PHT) initiative. Tons more work for already overworked teams, not addressing issue that management ‘leaned-out’ staffing to point of mission failure.

Top guys just don’t get it!. Wondering where this PHT initiative will be charged.

We will never rebuild the 50-year legacy trust!

This is probably the precursor to the ‘rebranding’ (aka name change) being rolled out tomorrow.

The main thing is to sell your stock. The house of cards will fall in due course.

I spent the last 10 -15 years (before i was walked out in August) commenting every time some especially stupid thing was done that it was a "sell your stock moment." Back then it was mostly in jest, but no more.

I will be leaving the end of this year or the end of next year. To get the match and holiday pay. Going on 40 years, probably enough time here.

I got out at age 62 several years ago. This is no company for old men. It is no company for any self respecting man or woman. I hope they can keep paying my meager pension.

I'm also 60. Was trying to hang on for a few more years. It won't happen. HON likes to get rid of the older employees first. If they offer a severance I'll take it. Meanwhile looking for another job.

It's sad when a company NO respect for the employees.

Loosing new people that came into company this year. New employees are returning to their old jobs. That should give this company how bad things are when employees are willing to go back to old employer.

I'm 60. I'd like to work longer but not worth starting over at another company.

If they offer severance I'll take it. Otherwise I'll work a few more years and just will be ready for severance at any time

I was let go last week

Best of luck for the one that have to stay

This “company” has no future, and if you did not see what happened to another not well managed “company” just google GE.

Leave before to have your 401k and others things tanked ....

look around you and see who has responsibilities and you will understand where you are going

If they terminated you, then it is most likely due to a budget cut to meet the numbers. You deserve your severance pay and they will try to tell you about legal review etc. is complete. Actually, they are just meeting their numbers and you need to speak to a lawyer.

Some charge 150/hr for consultation but you could use that and build your case against this crooked company. Name all the managers involved in framing you. Don't hesitate because they are banking on you caving in and hesitating to fight back.

I'd like to hear of an age discrimination class action, I'm in. 59 yo, 37 years no pips or negative reviews. Was forced to drive 2.5 hours one way or be fired that's after having all the approvals from HR and higher. I retired a year ago.

I'm in.
