I was laid off two months ago and I already have a new job that came with a nice $10k raise. being let go turned out to be a blessing in disguise for me.
Just wanted to share this and let people know that being laid off is not the end of the world, as much as it might seem at that moment.

Agree. I was laid off a couple years ago, but now I’m making 40% more than when I was there.
To me anything over 5 years is a blessing. I don't understand these ppl who camp out for 10+ years and with now reviews/increases to boot. Then only to lament and pine when laid off despite the writing on the wall the last few years!
