For those who is looking or already landed a new job, how do you describe your title to companies which have a transparent and clear structures? We have corporate title, functional title, and team title, and grade level. It's confusing.

I just told them i was a supervisor, when speaking to the recruiter and individuals I interviewed with. The only time I actually put down my real bny title was when it was time for the pre employment background check.
especially now they remove senior word from your title
I describe it as the job I am looking for, not the ones I have left behind.
