I’ve been with the company for 15yrs. From COS to comp shopper. My GM said I have to work every Saturday now, but I can’t because I have another job. I guess this will be my last few months at Sams Club
Not to mention all the sick and personal time they took from us when they came out with the PTO. This company is going down hill fast. I will be taking a LOA before I quit.
yeah they did comp shoppers dirty -- yet they eliminated most of those roles a few years ago in non-competitive areas. Comp shoppers should feel good about their M-F schedule -- at least up until now
So, did they make you sign something before they told you the position went away ?
Yes, I have been at Sam’s just short of 25 years. It’s just another way for them to get rid of long term associates and not give them anything for the years of service, It’s really a shame how this company has taken such a drastic change from what it used to be.... of course we expect change in company direction, but I’m talking about the way they treat people, it used to be you felt great coming to work and feeling like you are family... now it’s a here today and gone tomorrow, who cares mentality 🙁
Yes eliminated with no severance! Changing job codes before they tell us the position went away! Managers and team leads will comp shop and floor partners will do signs/IS. People can say position is a waste but we've done exactly what the company wanted us to do! S---s to say I gave 22 years to a company that don't care about the long timers! Embarrassing to say I work for Sam's Club. I'll be leaving asap!!
