I wonder how long will it take Union Pacific leadership to realize that profit at all cost will end up destroying the company in the end. And then to realize that in that case there will be no profit at all for anybody, including them?

UP's executives are following orders from Wall St. Larry Fink of Blackrock Capital is calling the shots. Companies like UP that are publicly traded can't afford to have Christian values for any length of time. Once Wall St. takes over, they enforce layoffs, diversity, hiring foreigners, H1B abuse, etc. and they don't care about running the business, only running up the stock price. Only privately-owned companies and family businesses can do what's right and good for the nation.
Im sure they have realize it but I don't think they care. In the end they will have made their millions and bail before the ship sinks. This company has always been cut throat. Nothing new. UP has never been and will never be a great company. People only put up with their b---s--- because they pay well.
