Only 1 more day?And Is the stress/wait over after tomorrow or day After tomorrow? Atleast at this point of time. I know some would think, lay offs wont stop. But, I am asking only abt this FY19 layoffs that gained lot of buzz for the past few days

They do sometimes also layoff on Fridays.
The big legacy Sun one was the Friday before labor day!
Usually the rif's are done on Tues, Wed, Thursday's, but there's no "rule" - they can happen on paydays in the US or anytime HR is instructed to do them. There's no formal notification ahead of time and your immediate manager may or may not know anything about it. So if you're looking for absolute confirmed dates and times - you're not going to find it here. Only rumors and some insider info that may have been passed down from a manager that does know something. If you get invited to a mandatory meeting - that's an indication that you're going to be gone. But they also have meetings for those that stay. Take your pick of whatever rumor you find most comforting.
lets put it this way.. Tomorrow and Friday are main layoffs for this season.
by now they should have set up 1-1 with fellows they want to axe
Why do you think it is Spamming? It is the question lot of people have in their minds. Many people just want to get out of this tension. I feel this one needs to be answered as it answers many peoples doubts
