So yes there has been confirmation that the company will definitely be offering an package to the rank and file workers soon .The question is wether it will be enhanced or not.But we will see who takes it .My opinion is that anyone with the time in and who thinks they will be leaving in next 2-3 years would be completely crazy to not take the money and run.The way things are headed youll be wishing you did !!

EISP is what is in the contract. 2200 per year is the enhancement. But anyone that's been around knows of the 6 and 6 that was introduced in 1997 and associates had staggered dates thru 1998 to leave. Thousands left back then. 5k associates off payroll followed by end of year RIF to managers will get the company to 10 billion in operating savings. They are at 2.3 billion now after VSP...
You say there’s an eisp package coming but don’t know if it’s enhanced? Then you must mean there is an isp coming....an isp is $1100 per year of service with ten grand thrown in. An enhanced isp (eisp) is $2200 per year of service plus fifty grand thrown in. So which is it? You stated it was an eisp but not enhanced...makes no sense.
If it’s not enhanced, why leave? Stay until the end of the contract and they’ll offer an enhanced eisp right before it’s up.
Yup hearing the same thing from some of the reps.but looking more and more like a regular package .Company probly dont wanna offer any extra enhanced .Time to get off this Crazy Train.Take the money and run
