Does it mean if I don't have a one on one scheduled I'm safe? Or do they send invites to meetings throughout the day?
I'm sorry if these seem like stupid questions to some of you, but I'm relatively new here and I don't know how Oracles handles situations like this.
It's been 1:1 meetings all week in IDC and was group meetings in Mexico. US is happening today and I haven't seen. I heard OCI in Seattle is having a group meeting at 10:30am to "discuss the re-organization."
In some of the earlier rif's for Sun acquisition, there was no meeting at all. Just the fedx truck coming with your papers and no notice. Then HR started the mass conference calls (remember Eddie's monotone call?) Smaller teams have the resources to do 1 to 1 meetings, larger ones or those with global teams can't do them all in person.
how should i check fedex account? I dont have one now. does fedex tell you have an incoming package by your address and name? thanks.

Not always. The Sep. 2017 lay-off was so big, and so many entire departments cut that they couldn’t have managers meet with people 1-on-1 and instead had a mass conference call. The process is adapted as needed and you’ll never have a guarantee of how it will happen for you.
One person in our group did not get a 1-1 email notice last evening. But he checked his Fed Ex account and found that HR was sending him a package scheduled to arrive Friday

But don't hope to stay on here.. you may be chopped in the next quarter if you are working on a non profitable product or business line. Suggest look for a job and move out before they axe you!
