Who will they manage when work force is gone?

Mechanical agreement forces cut. When do you start cutting management?

I don’t know, but I’m sure they will manage either way.

I heard a few managers say if they get cut, they'll bump into being a carman again. What a loser move.

Managers will be cut shortly after they achieve the goals expected from the executives.

Pine Bluff had 2 managers for some strange reason. When they closed the shop they just transferred one of the managers to North Platte and kept the more experienced manager over the handfull of employees that were left. I think they will be offered either a transfer or the door. The ones who feel they can't make it on the outside or are company men are going to take the transfers.

It’s hard to s---er in yet another manger into a terrible job - believe me most of if not all mangers regret taken a management job. And after it’s all said the tax man makes us all almost equal , it’s the difference of buying well whiskey shots to top self - To help getting minds away from the rail for just a moment. No one ever said it’s easy on the rail infact only salt of the earth folks can do it .

They’re going to manage contractors. We’re already seeing it in my department.

Dont forget these college grads are getting hired on for half the price of those who worked up from the floor.

There seems to be a lot of non agreement with no working railroad knowledge. Not being sarcastic just saying since they hire them right out of college.

They can’t let them go because they won’t come back , a lot of the agreement would, it would cause too many problems hiring new management with no knowledge of railroad or experience there of ! That’s what I believe!!
