Thread regarding Sears layoffs

Drain the Swamp!

My store manager is so useless. I don’t understand how they got the job. Makes up policies, drinks the kool-aid, can’t do normal store functions and hides from customers. The store manager lives in a bubble. Store manager has favorites and treats others like c-ap. They should really evaluate these managers now that we are the so called new Sears. Same id--ts running the company and stores.

If 1171 didn't get rid of their manager yet, then I'm sorry but there is no hope any of your SGMs will be gone in the near future.

Sears is not going to be around much longer anyway....Time to move on to a job that will make you happier.....If the manager is as bad as you portray him to be, he will be looking for a new job along with everyone else once the remaining stores close.

We have the same type of manager in New Jersey! She’s also clueless.

It’s sounds like the store manager at the Sears in San Bernardino. He’s been with the company for years so I guess he fills like he put in his time. Mark Perron is lazy and has everyone doing his job. He acts like he doesn’t know anything about nothing and pretends he’s so stressed like he does anything. I’ve been in the store many times and when we need a manager he sent a regular associate to come and help fix the problem as if the have authority to do anything. Someone really needs to get down to this store and really reevaluate the store manager. Maybe a secret shopper but their really from corporate.
