I agree. Get a grip. Find a new job and move on. It’s pretty simple. Why are you so special?

wow! if a company doesn't want you, than they get rid of you. what exactly are you going to see a lawyer for ???? That's business. And the stockholders own the company and expect to make a profit. If it was your money on the line, you would expect to make a profit too. Be for real. Sometimes I think employees had it too good and are thinking they are entitled?? Think about it.

You can not expect an employee to spill the beans on their case publically to give Xerox an advantage. It takes an hour to go through your circumstances with an employment attorney. This is usually a free consultation. I went to an attorney, and I’m glad I did.

Lawyers keen to understand:

Any lack of wage payent? Overtime? Previous discrimination or harassment on s-x, religion, race? Was a commitment put in writing breached? Are you over 40? If so, you have rights. Also, assisting with unemployment process.

I don't quite understand all the posts about contacting a lawyer. If XRX doesn't need us, or doesn't think they need us, they don't have any duty to keep us. I think what we have just been handed is way better than, "come on into my office - Hi- You're fired.".
