This attendance policy is f---ed up. We have more people calling I. With this so called protected sh-- than ever before. How do you run a club with this and be proficient.

The PPTO just started here last month and they did not roll any of our existing PTO in to it. We all started at zero. I don't call off very often and haven't been sick yet so I'm ok but it would have been nice if they would have at least rolled over the sick pay that we earned and shows up on pay stub but we aren't permitted t use!
PPTO in some states has been mandatory for a couple years now, so the people saying they have a lot of PPTO time work in those states.
How do you start with that much PPTO is my question. Perfect attendence well over 80+ pto accrued still sitting on the old sick time etc etc and i started with like 2 hours PPTO.
Haven’t called off in over a year but since they put part of my pto under protected pto I’m thanking of calling off once I save up two days. Just so I can use it. Will keep at least one Incase I do get sick.
They can call out all they want, until they hit 5 pts and then the door awaits.

If what is happening at your club is probably what is happening at my club. The people calling off and leaving early citing the new attendance policy are blindly leading themselves out the door. I have 3 associates who are chronic call offs. If they make to 3 months I will be amazed.

If they have enough PPTO when it just started to call in an entire shift than good for them.
