So, I just found out that for the last 3 years my manager has been taking 30 min lunch breaks out of my pay every single shift. I don’t take a 30 min lunch breaks and I only work 4hr shifts.
Any suggestions on how to handle this?

Check your paystubs you dummy
All I know there’s a Hub task that we all have to sign including Rx about payroll. Hmmm makes me wonder if this matter had something to do with it?
Something tells me there's more to this story. Like how could your DL not know that this was going on? The key phrase, was the manager saying he was "Saving hours". Right now cutting hours and saving hours is paramount at CVS! I wonder if this manager was getting his marching orders from above, and when he got caught, CVS made him a scapegoat. It would explain why the DL personally got involved. He was doing damage control to take any heat off of himself or corporate. That having been said, there is NO way whatsoever that this manager did this of his own accord, just to try to save hours and make himself look good. Someone higher up was telling him to do this.
I'm still BAFFLED that you, let alone an entire store didnt notice this.
What else were you looking for?
Back pay.. check
Manager fired for doing it ... check
Apology... check
Dinner and a movie?
Dunce cap for not noticing?
Oh my gosh! Why am I so shocked..
UPDATE: Manager was fired and I’m getting a huge amount of back pay. Turns out he was doing this to EVERYONE to “save hours”. So everyone in my store is getting a back pay and just a lousy apology from the DL.
No wonder he told everyone not to touch payroll....
Ok so you’re shorted essentially 2.5 hours of pay a week and didn’t notice?
Did he expand your Tim from say 12-4, to 12-4:30 with a lunch added? Bc that makes a lot more sense.
Who has signed a time card sheet in the last decade?!
You are required to sign timecard every week. Sad that your only discovering this recently. You could of had a new store manager awhile ago.
Your question is stupid. Sounds like you already handled it. ( if u called DL or DM as u say)
There is something wrong here.
There is no way you are just finding this out. -1 time is all it takes for sm to be fired . But I find it hard to believe he did this every time or even on 4 hr shifts . You are embellishing !!!
I am the original poster...this is true. I got off the phone with my district manager about an hour ago. He is coming in to the store first thing in the morning.
Immediate termination for sm and ull be back paid
It took you 3 years to catch on? Lmao
Call the ethics line if this is true.
