If that isn't a Freudian slip, I don't know what is.
CSMs teams across all orgs and regions will be let go this summer. They are rolling “Success” teams into support. Phase one completed already when they eliminated NA SaaS CSMs. They were able to move most of them to Netsuite, but rumor is there is no where to repurpose the others.
It is really dis heartening to see people getting laid off today in OTH, Bangalore.
Can we expect more tomorrow(Thursday) and Friday?
Yes. Idc oracle osvc team.. I got layed off today.. Mine was first and hr scheduled meeting for whole day. Funny thing is they asked us to write resignation letter in white paper.. It is contrary to their services to customers..
Usually, managers in the call with hr personals ( 2 nos). If manager is us they us zoom..
Finally. At end, They showed gratitude and drop in the cab. Who knows we may need to pay after drop.. I reject it.. We so many of working.. Why now to drop.
Be prepared and not to sensitive with them.
Numbers may be big soon..

This is right. Layoffs in June for sales, presales, CSM.
If I was sales for say, hardware or Engineered Systems, I'd be updating my CV and talking to my network right about now.
Q4 ends in May.

having substancial numbers, this would be continuing on weekly manner till end of Q4
Not sure what is the criteria. But it will be a huge in number and firings will be happening phase by phase.

Most of the teams were wiped out today. HR paper work came from bangalore
Few of my friends are laid of this morning 26mar2019 in hyderabad 2 offices one next to Oracle SSI office and at another one next to Tech Mahindra.
Approximately 350 to 500 were laid off since this morning. Most of them are from Fusion quality and testing. Including technical developers and also technical writers.
It started this morning as early as 830 AM. They called employees floor by floor and suggested to switch off mobile phones, made them to sign on paper work and collected badges and laptops and escorted out.
HR employees were to escort if any employee want to collect his lunch bag and any other personal stuff at their desks.
Personal files in work laptops can be collected next week as told.
Most of the employees got laid of are having around 12-15 yrs of experience.
Its pretty bad and sad to see them walking out with shock and disbelief.
Is layoff happening this thursday in IDC? If yes, which teams you know are getting affected??
